PICCOLE TERRE

The Piccole Terre (Small Lands) are places halfway between what is already here and what is not yet.
Imagination feeds on what we have seen and pushes towards what we have not yet seen: the contemplation of reality thus leads to the vision of elsewhere, of a "not yet", of a "maybe".
The organic shapes of these paintings, and the shades of earth and sky, water and vegetation, recall "my" small lands, those of daily life or travel, and create an abstract dimension in which enjoyment unfolds with the colors and marks on the canvas.
